Claude to PDF is a small, independent site with one job: helping you get your Claude conversations out of Claude and into documents you can keep, print, edit and share.

What's here

  • A free web converter. Paste a public Claude share link and save the conversation as a PDF. No account, no watermark, nothing stored.
  • The Claude to PDF browser extension. For private chats, single responses, artifacts, and Word, Google Docs or Markdown exports, the extension works inside claude.ai without a share link.
  • Guides. Step-by-step explanations of the practical ways to export, print or back up Claude conversations — see all guides, or start with exporting a chat to Word or downloading an artifact as PDF.

How we research and update these guides

  • Claude's own features — sharing, data export, artifacts, Research, memory, file creation — are checked against Claude's official help center, and each guide links to the relevant help article where it helps you verify a detail.
  • The extension and web converter are described from how they actually work: their settings, defaults and export formats, not marketing copy.
  • Microsoft Word and Excel steps follow Microsoft's and Claude's documentation for those apps.
  • Limits are stated plainly. If a tool can't do something — the converter can't read private chats, phones aren't supported — the guide says so and points to the alternative, including Claude's built-in options when they're the better choice.
  • Every page shows when it was last updated. When Claude changes how sharing, exporting or artifacts work, we revise the affected pages and change the date only when the content changes.
